The debarkation of a ferry of refugees from Albania, a painting inspired by that army of volunteers, especially Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam, and Feed the Children, who live lives of compassion. Included in the scene, and symbolic of the tradition of benevolence, are the images of St. Francis of Assisi, Doctors Without Borders and Mary, Joseph and their baby: a historical refugee family.
